Question: When you contract hepatitis c do you know it right away!?
I recently used needle drug's!. I have nevr done this before!. I used a needle that had been bleached of my supposable friend!. She and I later got into an argument and she told me she was infected with hepatits c!. I am so worried I may have this virus!. If you have it can you please tell me what you felt like!. No dumb answer's I didn't come here to get ant smart a-- answer's!. This is real life!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You have a very rotten friend!. Like the other guy said, you should report her!. This is wrong!. I will not give any sarcastic remarks!. Hep C is very dangerous but controllable!. It may take months to find out if you have it!. If I were you, I would tell a doctor what happened!. I know you don't want to admit that you used a needle and I promise you he won't be condescending with you!. A good MD will only have your health as his main concern!. Of course, he will tell you not to use dirty needles, but he will begin testing you for Hep C!. Don't wait, see someone right away!. That way, when or IF you get symptoms of Hep C!. he will already be on the ball!. Another thing!. since you 2 had an argument, consider that she may just have said that to get back at you and make you worry!. At the time, you were both good friends and I really think she did bleach that needle before you used it, now she's only saying she didn't because she's mad at you, either way, to be on the safe side, see an MD!. EDIT I just went into one of my medical books and I think this is very important for you know!. Let me give you a direct quote
"People experience hepatitis C if different ways!. They may not have any symptoms at all!. In fact, symptoms of chronic hepatitis C may not appear until advanced liver disease is already present!. This is why tests of your liver's health such as enzyme levels in your blood, other blood tests, a liver ultrasound or a liver biopsy are important!. How you are feeling does not always match up with the severity of your condition!. If you wait to have symptoms before you start treatments, your liver may already be severely damaged!." I know that you are not any where close to that since you only recently used the needle!. I just want you to see, that if you don't at least tell a doctor and get tested, you could harm yourself more by waiting!. At least if you have these test done now!. your MD will have a base line to go by for future testing!. If you want some symptoms of Hep C, let me know and I'll edit this!. you can't tell, until the anti-bodies or virus-level show in your blood!. that can take some time!. if you have contracted the disease, it will stay with you, there is no cure as such, but the activity may vary!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
You may not have symptoms for awhile, and it could take up to 6 months to show up on a test!. You should get tested, and retest if it has been less than 6 months since your needle use!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
