Megace suspension, non-ES version, is cheaper but still expensive!. These medicines can cause blood clots,FYI!.
Periactin, or cyproheptadine, can be used, as well as low dose prednisone to stimulate appetite!. There is a new medication, oxandrine, which shows promise, but expense will be an issue with that as well!.
