Although there are a couple cases out there of breast cancer in teens, it is usually a metastatic process, meaning it is a spread of cancer to the breast from cancer somewhere else in the body!. These girls know they have cancer already!.

The breasts are not a static organ!. This means they are not just sitting there doing nothing!. They are continually either developing or producing milk (in pregnancy) or breaking down with menopause when older!. They swell and shrink with menstruation and sometimes even cysts form inside!. Those cysts can become quite painful!. Often they also shrink by themselves, never to return!.

For no other reason, sit down with your dad and tell him you need to see your doctor about the pain in your breast!. You should never be embarrassed to tell your parent the truth!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is VERY inlikely that you have breast cancer at your age!. More likely, you have a cyst or something!. Tell your parents you are worried and go to the doctor if it doesn't go away!.

You should continue breast exams every month though!. The age of your aunt when she was diagnosed would be a good indicator for you as to when you should start to be concerned!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

ok well so you don't have to worry any more cancer does not hurt when u touch it!. that could very well be a sign that ur pregnant!. think to ur self is there any possible way that ur pregnant if so u should see a doctor right away!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Talk to your mom about it and ask her to set up an appointment with a Doctor!.
I hope that you don't have it!. Cancer it a horrible thing!.
Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I doubt it!. You probably have breast lumps or something, but at that age you're still growing!.
Give it time little buddy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Im not sure, but regardless of if you do have breast cancer or not, you should see a doctor either way!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

the chance of you having breast cancer at this age is way below zero!. so chill out!Www@Answer-Health@Com

omg go see a doctor!. r u seriosu u have these symptoms and ur asking us!?!?!? go noww like tell ur mom and make an appintment ASAP!. the early u see the doctor the better!!

like seriosuly dont waitt Www@Answer-Health@Com

First, at your age the chances of breast cancer are as close to zero as makes no difference!. It's mainly a disease of ageing - 80% of those diagnosed are over 50, it's rare in women under 40 and almost unheard of in under 25s!.

The American Cancer Society and other cancer organisations recommend that women start breast self-examination at the age of 20!. It is pointless for someone of your age to do it, since the purpose is to observe changes to the breasts and at your age your breasts are constantly going through hormonal changes!.

Most breast lumps, even in women over 50, aren't cancerous!. Most cancerous breast lumps don't hurt - most people diagnosed with breast cancer have had no pain!.Your breasts are still growing and developing, and any changes are almost certainly hormonal!.

You are not necessarily at greater risk of breast cancer because your aunt has it!. Only 5 - 10% of breast cancer cases are hereditary, or 'run in the family'!. If several people on the same side of your family have had breast cancer, especially if some of them have had it at an unusually young age, then it may be that breast cancer is hereditary within your family!. However you mention only your aunt; an isolated case of breast cancer like that is almost certainly not hereditary!.

After I was diagnosed with breast cancer I was assured mine was not hereditary, and that other members of my largely female family - including my nieces - weren't at increased risk!.

Talk to your mother about this or, if you can't, talk to your school nurse; don't be embarrassed, she will be used to girls having worries like this and will take you seriously!. She should be able to reassure you!.

There are a couple of misunderstandings about breast cancer in your post that need addressing; it can happen in either breast, and it happens to healthy and unhealthy women alike!. It also happens to women of all shapes, sizes and weights; although overweight after the menopause is a risk factor

Please talk to your mom or some other adult!. You should see a doctor about this!.

While it's rare (such a small percentage in the USA, that it doesn't even register on the scale) a girl your age can get breast cancer, even it you are really active and live a really healthy lifestyle!.

And good for you for being aware enough of what's normal for your body that you noticed the change!

Is it possible you could talk to your aunt or some other female adult relative about what you've found!? If there's no one, perhaps your school nurse!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
