Do people who do chemo therapy grow back their hair?!

Question: Do people who do chemo therapy grow back their hair!?
Answers:
no!?!?!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

In general, yes, they grow back the hair!.

Not all chemotherapy agents have this as a side effect, but those that do are interfering with the normal process of cell division in a way that stops hair from growing!. Hair has a normal lifespan and then falls out anyhow!.!.!. after that, the hair follicle regrows a new hair!. In the normal situation, we never notice this constant hair turnover except for the fact that there are always hairs in the shower, hairs on the hair brush, hairs on clothes and on the pillow!.!.!. and yet the hair on the head seems the same!. That's because it's regrowing as fast as it's falling out!.

When people undergo chemo, it stops the regrowth, but the rate at which hair falls out remains constant!. It's now a quick enough loss pattern that it's obvious!.

As long as the patient doesn't become critically ill, or severely malnourished, the hair will probably start to regrow as soon as the last doses of chemotherapy wear off!.

I hope that helps!.

Yes it definitely does, even though to everyone who undergoes chemotherapy it comes back at different rates!. Some patients might grow their hair as soon as the last dose of chemotherapy to other it might take longer!. No one can tell you for sure how long it'll take for it to come back, It might not fall out completely either, it really depends!. Each case is different!.!.
There are some really nice beautiful human hair wigs that healh insurance will pay for, so i suggest you start checking with your health insurance to see if they cover it, If they do then perfect because the wigs are so nice that they look like it's your real hair!. No one will ever notice!. The clinic or hospital you go to can give the numbers to the wig place!. Don't stress about your hair so much, it's just hair!.!. As long as your health is better, that's all that matters!. Beauty is not just in your hair, it's in your personality!.!. You're beautiful for who you are!.!. Take care! I hope the chemotherapy works great for you!. My best wishes go to you in these difficult times!. Just keep positive thoughts and now that everything happens for a reason, no matter how bad the situation is!.!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I did and so did my brother and sister!.

Brother was already balding when he went throgh chemo, and so when it came back his natural balding had continued so he came back with less!.
My sister who had always hated her curls had straigh hair for tthe first time in her life for about 2 years, long enough for it to reach shoulder length before it reverted to her previous curls!.

I had slightly wavy hair, when it came back it was tight curls (almost like corn rolls) which gradually loosened over about 2 years and I am now back to slightly wavy!.

In each case, hair growth started only weeks after the last round of Chemo!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, most of the time they do after their treatments are done!. Mine actually started growing back before I finished treatments the first time and it came in curly to start then in this amazing layered style, which I didn't have before the treatments!. Next time I lost the hair, it again, came in curly to start, but instead of going straight, as my hair has grown longer, the curls have stayed on the bottome 3or 4 inches of the hair now!. 2 years status post stem cell transplant, my hair is past my shoulders now!.!.!.!.!.!.!.I''ve battled the cancer 2 more times since the transplant, but these treatments have left my hair alone this time!.!.!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
