Question: Chest pain for a week now, and now developed a bad dry cough that hurts!?
Ive been having these chest pains for a week now!. i went to the doctor and got on naprelan 750mg, and anti inflamatory med!. yesterday night and continuing on to today i have got a bad cough now!. like when i cough its really hoarse and makes my chest hurt!. its like at the bottom in the middle of my rib cage, where the pain is now settled at!.
is this related to what my doc has come to!? 3 differnt illness of which he think it may be, costochondrias, angina, and lupus!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It sounds like you are catching a cold or you have some allergies!. You have an inflammation of the chest, so when you cough or breath in deeply you contrast those muscles which makes it hurt!. These muscles already hurt you so adding a cough onto the situation does not help it much!. I would wait a few days, you have to give the medicine time to start working, if you start to develop other symptoms which become worse, I believe you have a follow-up apt!. with your doctor sometime next week, I would let him know , if you can not remember get a little note pad or a piece of paper and write things down so you can remember what to ask or tell your doctor when you see him next week!.
I would try to calm down, take your medicine like you are told too and eat properly and drink alot of water!.

All I can tell you is to call your doctor first thing in the morning and update him on your symptoms!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
