Question: Is my ear infected!? if so how do i treat it!?
So its been about 4weeks after i got my pierecing and when i woke up one day i noticed that my ear was red, and was crusty!. is it infected!?
i noticed that there was this yellow pus everytime i cleaned it, so how do i treat it, and i could move my earrings back and forth but its a little swelled!. i usually cleaned it with rubbing alcohol!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Treat it with neosporin and keep an eye on it!.

Never clean a piercing with rubbing alcohol!. It dries out the hole and is bound to get infected!. Instead use sea salt soaks 3 times a day until it is healed!. Take 1/2 cup sea salt half cup warm to hot water!. mix well then soak piercing for 5-10 minutes every day until better!. Also use fine grain sea salt which will help it dissolve and mix better!. Also i would suggest using Dial foam antibacterial hand soap when washing piercing about twice daily every day, even when your piercing is healed!. Its very important to wash it everyday even when its not infected to keep it clean and healthy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
