Question: Where do scabies come from!?
I know the are very contagious, and you can get them from people, towels, clothes, bedsheets, ETC ETC!.!.!.!. BUT where do scabies come from!?!?!? do they normally live out in dirt, or bushes, or wild animals!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

i tried to look it up!. It seems that scabies only affects humans, so that is where they normally live!. They don't even live in your pets (pets get a different kind of scabies, different mite, that is called mange)!.

By direct, prolonged, skin-to-skin contact with a person already infested with scabies!. Contact generally must be prolonged (a quick handshake or hug will usually not spread infestation)!.
