I'm surprised to hear the "No" from someone from the health field!.

The correct answer is YES! There are over 150 bi-directional diseases associated with HCV!.

With any chronic illness, other organs eventually are worn down because they take up the slack the failing or damaged organ is unable to do!.

HCV virons are found in all bodily tissues and organs!. There have been scientific studies even suggesting there are actually 5 points of replication!.

HCV is called a liver disease because it mainly needs the liver to multiply!. HCV is bloodborne!. Anywhere a persons blood goes, is where the HCV goes, but again, it replicates in the liver!.

HCV virons pass the BBB which cause mental disease and illnesses!.

HCV also can cause cancer, intestinal, endocrine, lung, skin!.!.!.!.!.

To name a few diseases that are often thought of as seperate diseases (why it may take many attempts at diagnosing HCV as the culprit!)!.!.!.!.

Depression
Mental Fog
Fibromyalgia
Kidney disease
Lung Disease
Heart Disease
Arthritis
Sleep disturbances
Gastrointestinal Disorders/Diseases
Skin diseases
Hair Loss
Thyroid Disease
It can even be blamed for a small percentage of those who turn to substance abuse!!! (It's not always substance abuse that causes HCV)

Pretty much anything goes when one has hcv!.!.!.and DO NOT let a doctor dismiss the fact!!!!

I suffered (as well as many others) for DECADES and it was simply blamed on depression!.

Well, it wasn't ALL in my head, infact, it didn't begin in my head!.!.!.!.It began in my liver around the age of 8 or younger! First presentation of liver disease was a rash called Spider Nevi on my chest a year after being a child in a mass innoculation in my school!.
By 13 my bones were stiff and sore!. I slept alot, didn't engage in much activity as my peers did!. I pulled my hair out-literally!. Doctors said I was "anxious"!. I had many rounds of gastrointeritis by the time I was 18!. (now they call it IBS)!. By the time I was officially diagnosed, I was sleeping 18 hour days, could barely move and was severely depressed!. I had panic attacks for no reason!. Drugs given to me by doctors only attributed to my issue!.

Everything came to light when I happened upon a doctor who sent me to a gastro!. Once diagnosed I felt relieved to find it wasn't "all in my head"!. I found a place of understanding!. Where 2+2=4!. It took me over 10 years of complaining to find a doctor who knew what they were doing!.

I did antiviral chemotherapy 7 years ago!. Am sustained (considered cured) AND if ALL my symptoms were not caused by HCV, then why are they ALL resolved!?!?!?!?

The reason is simple!.!.!.!.I responded to the treatment, got rid of the causing factor (HCV)!.

Some issues like brain fog (over 26 years worth and many medications that made things worse) are not reversable!. BUT, I no longer sleep, no longer have skin rashes, no depression, no IBS-

So!.!.!.!.don't let ANY DOCTOR tell you HCV has no effect on the body besides the liver!.!.!.!.because it does!.!.!.and there are MILLIONS of people infected with HCV, half don't know why they are sick all the time! Doctors misdianose the issue every day!

ALCOHOL will INCREASE damage and will help HCV become more virulent!.!.!.!.Do not drink any form of alcohol!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Nope, it specifcally targets the liver!. However, the long term effects of liver damage will kill you!. Without the liver other systems will begin to fail!. Jaundice and liver cancer are just of the few things you can expect from this blood-bourne virus!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No!. Liver only!. Problems include cirrhosis, hepatic carcinoma and chronic liver disease!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
