How Did I Get Chlamydia?!

Question: How Did I Get Chlamydia!?
Last week, my doctor told my I had chlamydia!. I am very concerned because I have only had 2 sexual partners my entire life!. My first partner was over 2 years ago, and we ALWAYS used condoms!. My current boyfriend I have been with about a year and we don't use condoms!.

I started seeing symptoms about 3 weeks ago, which is why I went to see my OBGYN!. I read so far that symptoms usually show up about 3 weeks to 2 months after contracting it!.

Is it possible that my current boyfriend gave me the infection a year ago when we first got together and I'm JUST NOW seeing symptoms!? He says he has not cheated and I believe him, but at the same time, I don't want to be foolish about this!. I have an std and the only person that could give it to me is my boyfriend!. My boyfriend says he will get tested next week, but I feel that he will probably lie to me about the result -- or not even go get tested!. He says that if his test comes back negative then he will leave me, but I have never cheated on him!.

How long can a person be infected with chlamydia before any symptoms show up!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
In reality a person can have chlamydia for years and the symptoms can remain hidden!. If you and your first boyfriend used condoms every single time, then it was this current boyfriend that gave you the STD!. THis means that he is positive!. If he does not get treated then you will re-contract the disease!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

very possible!. some symptoms dont come til 2weeks after exposureWww@Answer-Health@Com

I don't have all your answers but I do know that you can only contract a STD from unprotected sex, which would be your current boyfriend!. Now unless you did a little cheating yourself!.!.!.it has to be from him!. And unless you and he have abstained, it would be amazing if he comes up negative on his test, as he would have it from you!. So if he says he doesn't have it, then you know he's lying!.!.there is a reason your doctor will want to treat both of you at the same time, so you don't give it back and forth to each other!. If you haven't cheated, don't be foolish you already where you got it from and what he did, always use a condom my friend and just thank your lucky stars that it was 'only' chlamydia that you got, it could've been something more DEADLY serious!. Put your health and safety before 'love'!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hi

I have been through this with a boyfriend!. Do not worry about the medical side of things because C is easily treatable with antibiotics, but if what you are saying about yours and your BFs past relationships is true then it is likely he will have it too and you will need to be treated together to clear it up for sure!. Any sex whilst on the pills has to be fully protected or you will just keep passing C between you!.

I say this because it sounds like the more poignant issue is that your relationship is in jeopardy because of the trivia over how you came to contract C!. Past relationships are just that, and I don
