I am having an abdominal ultrasound later for my liver.
I know I can't have food 4 hours prior, but what about liquids?

You are not suppose to eat or drink for several
hours before the test is done...this is according
to a number of website I viewed on preparation
for the tests. If you need to take medication,
they sometime allow you to take a little water
with that. If you are diabetic, you need to let
the doctor know, cause fasting will cause a
drop in your sugar level fast.
