Restless Leg Syndrome?!
Question:
Restless Leg Syndrome?
I have not been diagnosed with RLS but I have a question. When I go to sleep at night my legs are just as calm and don't bother me. But during the day at work, I can't stop bouncing around. My legs are constantly moving, bouncing, twitching non stop all day. Would this be considered RLS? Or is there a name for what I have? Thanks in advance for your help.
Answers:
RLS symptoms can occur at anytime. It is most prominent at night when one attempts to rest. RLS causes unnerving sensations which lead a person to move or twitch. Its our bodies only remedy to combat the pain or discomfort. It is an exhausting and frustrating condition.
Imagine never being truly comfortable. Imagine never being able to rest without discomfort. Imagine never being able to count on a good night sleep because to stop moving equals pain.
I don't know if you have RLS but seeing a neurologist would be wise. I wish you well.
