Answers:
You probably have a virus, or possibly strep throat!.

If it looks like a little white thing poking out of the tonsil on the side of your throat, it could be a tonsillolith (tonsil stone), which usually aren't bad except they give you bad breath!.

A doctor usually can't tell for sure if you have strep throat or a virus just by looking, so they need to test you!. They can look very similar and sometimes strep throat can have almost no symptoms!. But if you have strep you likely need to take antibiotics so it goes away and doesn't lead to rheumatic fever and damage your heart valves!. So go get a strep test, takes only about 5 minutes and they can do it at a walk in clinic!.

In my area we have both strep and a throat virus going around!. So when my son had a sore icky throat I had to take him into the doctor, but luckily it was just a virus!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It would be best to go to the doctor so that they can do a culture on it!. It could be strep, but usually you will run a fever with strep!. It could be oral thrush, which is yeast that can grow in the mouth!. It can be treated with diflucan or a nystanin swish!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's an infection!. The white matter is usually pus, unless it's left-over food (hehe)!. Yup, that may well be tonsilitis!. Try Povidone-iodine gargles!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
