Hi there,
I'm guessing you mean under-active thyroid (Hypothyroidism)!. Before I was diagnosed, I had so many symptoms that were really affecting my life!. Here's a list (some items are not so flattering):
1!. No BM for months at a time, even with over-usage of laxatives!.
2!. "Ghosts" in my vision!.
3!. Constant buzzing in my ears!.
4!. Really depressed!. Not sad, just everything seemed "grey"!.
5!. Very, very heavy periods!. For example, I bled through a "Super Plus" in less than 5 minutes!.
6!. Forgetful - I couldn't remember simple words!.
7!. Night terrors / night sweats!.
8!. Clear nipple secretion (not pregnant)!.
9!. I could hardly walk, it felt like my shin bones were separating from my calves!.
10!. Very bloated, it felt like I had a layer of salt water under my skin!.
11!. My liver hurt!.
Just before I was finally diagnosed, I would be scared to fall asleep, because I would wake up in the middle of the night, and everything would be asleep!. My arms, legs, butt, everything!. I felt like my body was starting to shut down!. Which maybe it was, because when my doctor got my test results back, my cholesterol was at 301!.
My doctor put my on medication and I started to see the results almost immediately!. I hope you're not as sick as I was, and that sharing some of my symptoms with you has helped point you in the right direction!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
