Question: What are the first signs of an early MRSA infection!?
I think I was bitten in my sleep or something but a red bump appeared on my leg and about a half of a pointer finger away from the bump when I push down it hurts badly!. About a 4 on a 1 to 10 scale!. After school I looked at it and the top had a hint of white so I bit my lip and squeezed it!. When it popped white puss came out and after all of it drained a clear liquid kind of puss came out!. There is still a red bump and it still hurts!. Even when my pants rub on it it tends to hurt my entire leg!. My mom thinks its just an ingrown hair but i think it's a little bit more than just that!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

if you have popped it and established drainage, nothing else is necessary!.
but if you start getting more and more of them, you should see a doctor for advice on how to eradicate the germ from your skin !. Antibiotics are NOT the solution - they make the problem worse!.

The diagnosis of MRSA is established by culture of the bacteria from an infected area!. Any area of the skin with pus, abscesses, or blisters should be cultured for MRSA!. Patients with sepsis or pneumonia should have blood cultures drawn!. Pus from surgical sites, bone marrow, joint fluid, or almost any body site that may be infected should be cultured for MRSA!.
The definitive laboratory studies to diagnose that a person is infected with MRSA are straightforward!. S!. aureus is isolated and identified from the patient by standard microbiological techniques (growth on Baird-Parker agar plates and a positive coagulase test)!.

some people get a nasty looking bump on there for head so if you got a nasty looking bump and you think it could be something such as MRSA get checked by a doctor because that is a seriously bad disease and could possibley lead to deathWww@Answer-Health@Com
