Ive been diagnosed with hsv2 about 2months ago right b-4 my 22cd b-day although the outbreak i had did not consist of any sores on the outside, it was very painful from my lower back to my stomack starting off & like sharp nerve pains in my legs & feet than the burning started when i urinated, i have never felt a pain like this b-4 but i remember about 2 years ago with my ex he & i were having sex & two days later there were like 15 tiny little puss filled bumps near my vulva i figured it may have been from shaving but they went away within 2 wks but thereafter i always felt itching down there as if something was crawling on me i went to the doctor numerous times & she always said i was fine, but then i had gotten staph infection on my hip & since then my back ,face,chest & buttocks always breaks out, but the last outbreak i recall didnt consist of any of those symptoms not even itching, just pain & i remember having sex with my so called partner 3 dayz b-4 we went to a club & then he got in a fight so we wre so drunk i staed up all night in the hospital with him & we went back to the club to go get his car & slept in his car so i figured the pain was just from sleeping in that position 4 too long he then the next day got locked up & i was extremely stressed & in pain so i decided to go to the er & i remember the doctor looking down there & saying everything looks fine on the outside but when she went in she siad there is a lesion on your cervix then asked me if i've ever had a biopsy or colposcopy & i replied yes she said she wasnt sure if it was from that or herpes!. i didnt know what to say, a male nurse then came in with an attitude & sai here is your prescription for the herpes i immediatly froze like!.!.!.so is it really herpes!? his reply "thats what she said" since then my male friend has gotten out of jail & i tried talking to him about it but he said he has never had any symptoms !. i feel like i am going to be alone forever, how do you directly tell someone you've been diagnosed with this virus !. im really scared to tell anyone, where i come from they would never understand!. a doctor can't make a diagnosis of herpes without testing for it, they can only assume, but sometimes they still give u the medication to take until your results get back, incase you do have it!. it would be best to go to a proper doctor and see what they have to say, although its hard to diagnose genital herpes without having an actual outbreak!. I do not consider the ER visit a diagnosis!. You need to see a YN for a complete work up, it may be other reasons for lesions on your cervix!.
The best way to diagnosis herpes is during your next "outbreak" see a Dr and have a swab of the fluid in bumps sent to lab for testing!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

i am sorry but it sounds like you really do have herps but it is not the end of the world go get tested and find out for sure it is always better to know the truth

NO! A doctor cannot make a true diagnosis based upon a visual examination only! Don't freak out, just go and get some blood tested for the virus!. I wouldn't rule it out, but I have heard of a lot of doctor misdiagnosis herpes based on visuals only!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
