Hypothyroid and can't keep warm?!

Question: Hypothyroid and can't keep warm!?

Please can anyone help me, I can't keep warm, got loads of clothing on and the GP says I am balanced with thyroxine adn that was just 6 weeks ago!. I had this problem last year and pleaded with him to give me more thyroxine and he said "I do not need it"!.

Any one feel the same!? [I have not seen an endocrinologist as I did not think it was necessary!. I am 66 and do have RA, OA and osteoporosis

Or anyone any advise on keeping warm with this disease or managed it!?
