Question: How do you feel after an upper endoscopy!?
My husband is having an upper endoscopy and he wants me to stay with him all day after it! Is that really bad or is he just being a baby!?
He never had one (neither did I) so I dont know how people usually feel after!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It depends!. What sort of drugs is he getting!? If he is in the US, he should be getting some pretty good drugs and will not be allowed to drive home on his own!. After the drugs wear off he should feel fine!. His throat may be sore because of the tube!.
I was up and about (with some burping and stomach pain due to them blowing me up with air so they could see) and acting normal after all the drugs wore off!. He should be fine, just take half a day off!. OR you could decide to just be with him and fool around all afternoon, lol!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I had this when I had gallstones stuck in my bile duct!. Not pleasant, but as soon as it's over it's over!. I had a spray to numb my throat, burped quite alot when it was over ( very embarrassing), then i drove myself back to work!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
