Answers:
An awful lot of certain answers from the Yahoo Answers experts!.

There are clinical trials for at least 5 breast cancer vaccines out there!. The 3 I am most familiar with target HER2/NEU breast cancer, so it would only work for about 25% of breast cancer cases!.

And it wouldn't be given to the general population, but to women who are currently diagnosed with HER2/NEU positive breast cancer!.

Try research before you answer a question!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Breast cancer, unlike cervical cancer is not linked to a virus in its pathogenesis, so there is not, and in fact will never be a vaccine to prevent it!. Some other course of action will be required if there is to ba a preventative in the future!.

As far as cervical cancer, in fact HPV, vaccine is concerned, I hope not too many other women think like you! If they do and they were all to wait ten years, an extra 4,000 young women would die painfully and many others would be maimed and mutilated by surgery and radiotherapy while they waited!Www@Answer-Health@Com

As Inverse!.!.!. said there are indeed vaccines being researched!. I'm most hopeful with the HER2 vaccine that is showing some positive results in the lab (too late for me though)!. So far, for HER2-positive BC, targeted therapies, such as Herceptin, have been achieving extremely good results in increasing survival rates!. I'm quite happy since I just finished my year of Herceptin!.!.!.

Again -- for med information on cancer, check with reputable sites too -- i!.e!. Canadian or American Cancer Society!. Best guesses and misinformation doesn't help, especially for someone with a genuine concern!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No there's none!. Remember vaccines are against microorganisms!. In the cervical cancer's vaccine case, it's developed against HPV (Human papillomavirus), which causes over 90% of all cervical cancer (not all of them)!. Since there's no infectious cause related to breast cancer, but many factors involved, it's not likely they will ever develop any "vaccine"!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

there is no vaccine for breast cancer or a cure so unfortunately you cannot prevent it or cure it unless you catch it early and take proper action against it!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

native populations of women who do not wear bras, do not get breast cancer - bras restrict the drainage of your lymph system!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

There is no vaccine for any form of cancer - vaccines and cures go together, and there's no cure yet, so how can you be inoculated against it!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

No, but there should be!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
