Question: What can I do for my eyebrow that has been slowly falling out for 8yrs!?
I have been to a couple dermatologist and none have had any good suggestions except alopecia areata!. But the steroid cream one prescribed actually seemed to make it worse!. Redness and flakiness around brow area when no meds applied!. Please help, it is getting so thin that i have to fill it in with brow pencil!. I am at my wits end it is REALLY noticeable and am terrified it is permanent!. Any advice!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

That happened to me with chronic Lyme and several bug-borne infections!. It'll grow back with the proper antibiotics!. That's probably why steroids made it worse - the steroids shut down your immune system and your immune system was only attempting to fight an infection for you!.

Just make sure you use a specialty lab like Fry or IGeneX so that you have hope of meeting CDC criteria before you go half-bald on top of your head, too, like I did!. I was an extreme case though!.
