Question: Mononucleosis, if I have been exposed, should I be tested !? REad:!?
I just found out from my neighbor that I've been visiting a lot, she was diagnosed with mono!. I have 2 small grand children, should I be tested to make sure I don't have it and pass it on !? I have CFIDS so the symptoms are the same, but CFIDS is not contagious, so I wouldn't know if I have it because I already have symptoms just like mono from my cfidsWww@Answer-Health@Com

There is a great problem with glandular fever (sorry im from England and glandular fever is a more common term over here) and people who come across the virus!.

It's dubbed the kissing disease, however you can catch it through less intimate methods, but it is quite unusual!. The main problem with it that it stops being contagious once the viral pettern is visible in a blood test, so you wont know you have it until you're in full swing illness, this is why it's passed on alot, so essentially a blood test would be pointless unless you notice severe symptoms of the illness!. Preteen children tend not to suffer greatly from it, the older you are the worse you get it!. It's not that usual for a child to be diagnosed with mono unless they have another illness and they don't show strong symptoms usually!.
so all in all getting tested now is pointless, get tested if you do noticed that you feelyou are feeling more tired or unwell than usual and trust me you'll notice it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You already got the virus years ago, and are immune to it --
by the age of 35, 95% of americans already have this virus, and I assume that if you have grandchildren you are over 35!.
