Can i get the HPV vaccination?!


Question: Can i get the HPV vaccination!?
When i got pregnant with my first child i was diagnosed with HPV!. after giving birth and having a more than thorough pap they told me it was cleared up!. when i got pregnant with my second they saw no signs of it!. so now i'm wondering if i should or could get the vaccine so i can prevent it in the future!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

There are more than 100 different strains of HPV!. There are two strains that turn cancerous HPV 16 and 18!. Your body can fight off HPV!. It is a virus and can come back at any time!. The vaccination protects agains four types of HPV, types 16 and 18 and two types that cause warts!. I recommend getting paps every year religiously! Use condoms with new partners!.Eat healthy and if you smoke quit!.

Meggie- If you have a strain that causes genital warts you cannot have a vaginal birth!. The warts on the cervix may inhibit the sperm from entering the uterus!. You may find it more difficult to concieve!. If you do not have genital warts you can have natural childbirth!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have HPV too!. If you dont mind me asking were you able to have a normal birth with out a c-section, and was it easy to get pregnant!? My husband and I have been ttc for 6 months and nothing yet!. So I was thinking maybe it was because I have HPV!? But to answer your question look into it because there are many strains of HPV so it might be a good idea!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I went through the same thing and I was told I couldn't recieve the vaccination because I already had it!. I may be mistaken!. Also there are many different types of HPV and I may have been told that because of the type I had!. I hope this helps!. I would talk to you GYN about this!.
