Could a tattoo on my arm result in a bump under my skin in my hand?
I recently had a tattoo put on my arm and the same day a bump of some sort appeared in my hand under my skin at one of the joints in my middle finger. It's almost like there's something in one of the blood vessels that's protruding out. It's about the size the tip of a ball point pen and it's not painful unless I apply pressure. Is there any connection between this and the tattoo? I asked the guy who gave me the tattoo, and he said he'd never seen anything like it. But he's not real experienced.

I understand that bootleg tattoo dye has some metal in it. Especially if they were done in a jail or prison. If the guy that did it is not real experienced, I'd see a Dr. just to be on the safe side.
