Question: Gardasil and flu shot!?
I am getting both today and have a huge fear of needles!. I passed out last time I got a flu shot, and was really dizzy after the first gardasil shot!. Is there anything I can do to make myself stress less and make them hurt less!? Which one will hurt more!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hello I just got both today, too! Well my suggestion is to take some ibeprofin so that it won't be so much pain which is what I did and it totally worked!. If you relax and not think about the pain, just the benefits of the shot, it won't be too bad!. The more painful one was the Gardasil!. I didn't get dizzy but it hurt!. So ask for flu shot first because if u take it after Gardasil, while your arm is still sore, then it will really hurt! Www@Answer-Health@Com
I don't know which hurt more but you can use ice at the site until numbed!. Ask the nurse to wait until the alcohol dries first!. Sometimes, it is the actual medication that burns when injected, so there may not be anything that can be done!.
You are not alone in your fear!. Do not look at the needle and turn head during injection!. Don't ask that it be injected faster because if it burns, this may be worse!.

Gardasil will hurt more, it made me cry but I hate needles!. The best trick is to look away when they are giving you the shots and try to engage yourself in conversation with someone!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
