Cellulitis in my arm?!
Question: Cellulitis in my arm!?
About 2 weeks ago I started noticing a patch of skin on my forearm that was tender to the touch (but didn't look any different)!. After a week my pinky finger was also tender!. At this point the whole side of my arm from my pinky almost to the elbow is tender, swollen, and tingling, and my wrist is sore on that side!. Sometimes the arm or finger itches!.
There is no break in the skin or any bite that I can see!. No visible redness!. Skin slightly warmer in that area, maybe!. Putting ice on it helps a little!.
I don't have any other significant health issues that I know of!. Not on any medication!.
This may or may not be relevant: When I was about 10 that same pinky became permanently crooked!. But I didn't injure it, or at least I never noticed injuring it!. It was sore a few days and then I realized it was crooked!. It was x-rayed to see if it could be straightened but we decided not to!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

if you really had cellulitis from the finger to the elbow, you'd have a fever > 101F, and would definitely have redness and dramatic warmth!.
Sure doesn't sound like cellulitis!. But without getting further history and examining you myself, I could not tell you what it is!. You really should have it checked by your family doctor!. It would be a bad idea for you to seek diagnosis and treatment advice over the internet from people who have never examined you , and who may have no medical training!.
