Pre existing depression (MDD) & fibromyalgia?!

Question: Pre existing depression (MDD) & fibromyalgia!?
so from what ive read, i have a lot of the symptoms of having fibromyalgia, which is strange because ive noticed this tends to happen to women, and i am a 26 year old male, so that kinda concerns me!.
ive been having back problems for 3 months or so now, and basically the start of this month i started having sharp pains in both my arms, one side, my right arm is more severe, but just slightly then my left!.
i have headaches, sensitivity to light, joint, muscle pains, i have excrutiating pain when i move my arms around, stretch, drive, put on shirts, just normal day things!.
ive been depressed for 13 years along wtih severe anxiety, and i read that fibromyalgia is linked to depression, so this concerns me as well, im already stressing about this, going to see the doctor tomorrow because i cant wait and suffer through this pain, so if anybody can help me with this, please let me know
thank youWww@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
The symptoms of fibromyalgia, as well as the symptoms you describe for yourself, are exactly, precisely the same as what used to be called "nervous exhaustion" or "neurasthenia!." Medicine dropped those terms a long time ago, though, in exchange for "chronic fatigue syndrome" or "fibromyalgia!." The refinement was purely descriptive, though!. It is still considered a mental condition!.

If your doctors tell you you have fibromyalgia, that's another way of saying you need psychotherapy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You're already stressing!? Well that is just contributing to the problem!. Just think!! You are headed in the right direction and taking care of yourself!. Why you are stressing isn't quite clear as this is a step in getting to the bottom of your pain!! Your doc will more than likely want to find out if ,since the back pain came first, that might perhaps be causing the other pains throughout your body, and that is highly possible!. In that case, he may want you to be evaluated by a neurologist!. I wouldn't mention your thoughts on fibromyalgia to your doctor!. You could ask him what the symptoms are, but I wouldn't mention to him that you think you have it!. Let him earn his money and make his own evaluation/diagnosis of your present condition!. best wishesWww@Answer-Health@Com
