WHAT KIND OF SEIZURE IS THIS?!

Question: WHAT KIND OF SEIZURE IS THIS!?
When i was younger (age 7-11), I had a few seizures (around 3 in that period)!. All of which were where I completely passed out and convulsed for a few minutes!. They were all diagnosed as heat stroke, exhaustion etc!.!.!. Later when i was around 16 or 17 I had an episode where i was just walking through the house and completely passed out and fell straight backwards into convulsions ( never followed up on this one)!.

I am now 26 years old!. A few days ago I had another episode in which I was sitting around watching a movie eating pizza then some cookies!. I had a headache, which for me is very unusual (maybe had 3 headaches my whole life!) I got up to use the restroom, when in the restroom i felt the strange buzzing through my head, vision went dark, i came out of the restroom feeling my way out, then woke up on the floor!. In a cold sweat, excess saliva, heavy breathing!. I felt better, but had to rush to the restroom to vomit!. No memory of actually shaking!. I just remember trying to walk out of the restroom!. (lasted approx!. 2 min!.)

Through out each of my episodes, I remember the buzzing ( i compare it to those static electricity lights that make your hair stand up x100!), I also always remember my vision fading out!. Usually red or black!. I can still hear what is going on around me, but cannot speak or move, or see!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

You've never been evaluated by a neurologist for your seizures!?

My dog has epilepsy, he has grand mal seizures in clusters (8-10 in a day sometimes)!. When this all started I did tons of research and had him checked out at Cornell by a neurologist!. His epilepsy is idiopathic, which is just their fancy way of saying they can't find any cause for it other than it being genetic!.

Anyway I learned that when my dog is having one of these seizures he is not conscious or aware of what is happening!. He doesn't breathe during the seizure so when it ends there is a lot of heavy gasping breathing and foamy saliva!. He often loses control of his bowels or bladder during or right after a seizure!. He also throws up afterwards sometimes!.

He's a lot better off now that he is on meds to control his epilepsy, and only has episodes every so often!. Most recently he had 2 seizures a couple weeks ago after not having any for about 9 months!. We got off pretty easy that time!

Anyhow!.!.!.!. I know this doesn't answer your question but your seizures sound like the kind my dog gets!.!.!. I'm sure a neurologist could help you get to the bottom of this and get you on the proper meds, if they are needed, to control your epilepsy!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
