Is Splenda going to give me cancer?!

Question: Is Splenda going to give me cancer!?
just wondering!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
There have been no studies linking Splenda to cancer - there have been some linking the sweetners like Sweet n Low with aspartame to cancer, however only in lab mice!.
There are two things you should consider: eating a more natural diet (fresh raw fruits and vegis, protein, not processed foods, no sodas, etc) is really a good way to help prevent cancer, as well as daily exercise (cancer of any kind)!.
However, obesity has also been linked to high rates of cancer, so if you are not going to eat a very natural diet and want to eat the processed foods, keeping your weight lower by using Splenda may be a sensible idea!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think what you are referring to is Aspartame!. Most artificial sweetener contain Aspartame and it has been proven to accelerate the growth of cancer if you are genetically prone to cancer!. This does not mean it will "give you cancer", but would just make it grow faster if you would have gotten cancer anyway!. I don't believe that Splenda has Aspartame, but you may want to check the label!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Not necessarilyt but it may give you headachess or migraine,
the basis for concern about the safety of (Splenda)sucralose derives from the class of chemical to which it belongs!. The sucralose molecule is an organochloride (or chlorocarbon)!. Since some organochlorides are known to cause adverse health effects in extremely small concentrations, critics of sucralose feel the extra-high burden of proof is warranted!. Although some chlorocarbons are toxic, sucralose is not known to be toxic in small quantities and is extremely insoluble in fat; it can not accumulate in fat like chlorinated hydrocarbons!. In addition, sucralose does not break down or dechlorinate
