Serious only please. Staph infection questions.?!

Question: Serious only please!. Staph infection questions!.!?
About two years ago (a little less give a month or two) I had developed lumps under my left arm and several days later they were large and I developed a fever and fell very ill!. I ended up going to the ER b/c I could not lift up my arm/pain!. I was hospitalized for what they found was a staph infection (non resistant to antibiotics) and they did an aspiration (spelling) b/c the abcess was large and in deep the left breast!. Well, recently I had a D&C performed!. About one two weeks later I developed a rash of some kind (weird looking) around the outside of my vagina!. I went back to my obgyn and he took a nose swab and the vag swab!. Meanwhile gave me meds to treat this as a yeast infection!. He called me himself today urgently that the culture came back as staph!. So now I have 10 days of Cipro to take!. I am concerned that this staph had never completely lefy my body since the first time - is this possible!? Www@Answer-Health@Com

It could be the case or maybe you just had a cut or something!. Some people just get staph more easily than others and being around a hospital is a sure way to come into contact with it!. The point is that you are being treated and will be better soon!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Possible but unlikely!. You are just unlucky!.:)Www@Answer-Health@Com

My sister had the same thing and it turned out to be MRSA!. It's a staph infected disease and could be fatal!. If there is a sore on her she has to watch it to make sure it does not become infected!. Check this out and see if it helps:

MayoClinic!.com:
MRSA infection is caused by Staphylococcus aureus bacteria
