Anyone ever heard of something this bizarre to get rid of a possibly cancerous m!

Question: Anyone ever heard of something this bizarre to get rid of a possibly cancerous mole!?
I have a couple of moles on my side that I'm concerned are melanoma because they're scaly, have tiny black spots and bleed!. I had melanoma on my arm removed 2 yrs ago so I have a history of it!. Today I saw my dermatologist at Kaiser and she gave me a steroid creme called Triamcinolone Acetonide because she thinks chances are it's not melanoma!. She wants me to put this steroid creme on them for 2 weeks to see if they get smaller!. Steroid creme to get a mole smaller!?!?!?

For some reason, she flatly REFUSES to cut off any mole unless she's 100% positive it's cancer!. She said in 2 weeks she'll know more if it's cancerous or not!. The problem is I'm 6 months pregnant (she knew this) and after I picked up this steroid creme I looked it up online and it's not supposed to be used while pregnant or breastfeeding because it hasn't been tested and it's full of hormones!.

Does anyone else think my dermatologist is a moron!?!?!? Anyone heard of a treatment like this before a dermatologist will remove a mole!?!? I mean it takes what, maybe 10 minutes total to remove!?!?!? I'm not about to risk hurting my baby from this creme and am very upset!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
um, 1st, get a new doctor asap! she is suggesting you continue to use something that could harm your child and she knows that!
2nd, find someone to remove them!.!. they will test them in a lab after they are removed!.!. no sense keeping them on your body to spread a possible disease!.!. get them taken off Before they have that chance!.
yeah, your doc is a moron :PWww@Answer-Health@Com

Not to be rude, but yes, your dermatologist is a moron!. I strongly suggest finding another one, or seeing a plastics doctor to get them removed (I had one removed this year by a plastic surgeon who specialised in skin cancers)!.

You can not compare the risks of using a tiny amount of topical corticosteroids cream to the risk of an excision being done on your neck while pregnant!.

If you ate the entire tube of prescribed cream your baby might be in a bit of danger but by following your Dr's instructions you will soon know for sure whether or not the skin lesions need a biopsy or can be put on the back burner until after the birth of your baby!.

Trust your Dr!. Follow instructions!. Just use a tiny dab of the prescribed cream as directed and then you will know in 2 weeks whether you have a real worry or something that can go on the back burner until after the birth of your baby!. If the Dr was truly worried about the spots they would already be gone!. Your Dr is just being extra careful!.

good luck with your pregnancy

I have dealt with hundreds of small potential and real skin cancers!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
