Answers:
yes, they will just ask you to pee in a cup, the urine will be tested for the presence of infection!. Then the doctor will give you a prescription for antibiotics to clear the infection!. He will probably also tell you, be sure to take all of the medicine as ordered, even if you are feeling better!. (not finishing the antibiotics gives the bacteria a chance to grow back, resistant to antibiotics) Drink at least two quarts of water a day while taking the drug!.
to avoid future UTI, take showers, not tub baths, wipe from front to back after urinating, urinate immediately after sex if you are active!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Treat it as soon as you can as you will always find a sensation of wanting to pee and it would not be comfortable at all!. Doctor will usually take a sample of your pee, and you will know the result on the spot whether you are infected or not!. Antibiotics will be given and some medication to stop the peeing sensation!. To stop it from recurring, always remember to wipe after peeing, from the front to the back, and pee immediately after you have sex and wash your private thoroughly!.

When you are under medication, do avoid sweetened drinks or food before sleep as it will provide food to the bacteria!. This will make it harder for the antibiotics to work!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Basically the dr!. will have you pee in a cup and they can tell within minutes (but be prepared for about an hour because of the lab back-up)!. If you have a uti (urinary tract infection) you will have protien, most likely blood in your urine!. You generally can't see the blood, if you can, then you may have a kidney infection!. Neither of these two are uncommon or anything to get worked up over!. Both are completely treatable with antibiotics!.

Is your lower back bothering you!? That is another sign of kidney infection!.

Don't sweat it the dr will get you fixed up!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
