Answers:
The only way to know for sure you have strep is to see a doctor and have him do a throat culture!. That is the ONLY way to know for sure!. Even if you have had strep before and think you have it again!. There are several things that can feel just as bad as strep!. You would need antibiotics if you have strep, this is the only way to cure it!. Left untreated, strep can actually cause many other problems, even effect the heart!. So going to the doctor is imperative when you think you have strep!. Not to mention it is contagious!. Stay away from others, gargle with warm salt water, use a good spray for sore throats, and take a pain reliever!. Drink plenty of fluids and get plenty of rest, and see your doctor!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Strep is an infection!. It should be treated with prescription antibiotics, not only for your sake but because until you begin treatment, you may infect those around you!.
However, if you really want to take your chances, you can treat the sore throat with Chloraseptic spray for pain and sucking on Halls Breezers throat drops with pectin, or even just hard candy!. Hot tea with honey and lemon will also be soothing!. You can take ibuprofen for fever, which will also reduce swelling in your throat!. If you develop a rash or more severe symptoms, you should really go to a doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
