It's true that some foods "trigger" an outbreak!.
For me it's peanuts

I'm not sure if it's the same with everybody, but it happens everytime I eat trailmix or a bag of peanuts!.!.!.so there must be a connection

With time you'll find out your triggers!. Foods are possible, but most people are affected by stress, sun exposure & clothing that rub you the wrong wayWww@Answer-Health@Com

I've read lots of articles linking certain foods to increased outbreaks!.

I've always read peanuts and chocolate have a tendency to lead to outbreaks!.

For me I've always noticed that when I eat a lot of strawberries I tend to get them, which is strange to me, but that's how it usually works for me!.

Try to eat lots of fruits and veggies and drink LOTS of water, staying hydrated is also key!.

Also if you don't already, add a multi-vitamin to your daily routine!.

I also use Valtrex, as needed, when I feel I am about to have an outbreak!. Some people use it daily, but I only use it when I feel an outbreak coming on and that seems to work well for me!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Personally I dont think foods have anything to do with breakouts!. I have read however that stress can play a part in outbreaks!. I don't think anyone really knows the answer!. Some of us have many outbreaks and some don't!. Best thing to do if you have frequent outbreaks is to get on a daily med such as Zovorax, it helps supress outbreaks and it's available in generic form!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
