If a person gets infected with acute Hepatitis B. How much time does he take to !

Question: If a person gets infected with acute Hepatitis B!. How much time does he take to recover!?
On the net its given that the person may take 6 weeks or a bit more to recover from Hepatitis B!. But i want to know the approximate days the person needs to be in the hospital and the time he has to spend at his home (bed rest)!.
Consider the above question for a person who has been infected for the first time and is not diagnosed initially but after the symptoms become more severe the doctor
Answers:
Symptoms typically last for several weeks but can persist for up to 6 months!.
you ask about how long a person should stay in the hospital, so it depends only on how is he/she tolerating food!. In hepatitis there is usually food intolerance because of the nausea and vomiting, as soon as they subside, the patient can and should go home to make some resting!. There is not much the hospital can do for the hepatitis patient (unless the hepatitis is so serious that they have to fight it with immune therapy)
The home bed time (time to rest) is also dependent on how well the person feels, hepatitis is a very consuming disease, but as soon as the patient feels better he/she should get into his/her previous life style!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
