Maybe I'm just being paranoid, but does anyone know what these are symptoms !

Question: Maybe I'm just being paranoid, but does anyone know what these are symptoms of!?
My niece had a bad cold and my grandmother wound up catching it a few days ago!. She's been coughing pretty badly and has a sore throat for the past few days, but it's subsiding!. I was perfectly fine until 2 days ago!. I'm not sure if I caught this cold or whatever they had or if it is something more serious!. I've had asthma for about 2-3 years and had pneumonia about 3 years ago!. My symptoms right now are severe wheezing, bad coughing caused by a tickling phlegm that I can feel in my lungs/chest, sneezing once in a while and headaches!. I'm not having any chest or back pain and it's not hard for me to breathe, so I don't think it could be pneumonia again!. I was looking up my symptoms on the net and came across heart failure!. I have 4 out of 7 of the most common symptoms of that!.!.!.wheezing/coughing up white phlegm, edema, fatigue and increased heart rate/heart palpitations!. I've complained about the swelling of my legs to my doctor about a year ago, but she just asked if it happened when I sat down for long periods of time!. I said yes, she examined my legs and that was it!. She basically didn't do anything about it!. So, I'm not sure if it's actual edema or just from bad circulation when I sit down!. I've had 2 EKG's in the past 2 years and they said my heart was fine!. I was also on a heart monitor for about 3 hours a year ago and nothing came up abnormal!. I even told them about the heart palpitations and they just checked it off on their list and pretty much did nothing for it, but now I seem to get them more often!. Since I've been awake today I took an albuterol treatment (the machine thing), but it only helped for about 15 minutes!. Now I keep having tickles in my throat and when I cough I can feel all the congestion in my chest!. I have a doctor's appointment scheduled for tomorrow, but in the mean time has anyone had these symptoms or know what they may be!? It seemed odd to me that I have so many heart failure symptoms and yet my heart always shows no problems with the EKG's!. Should they be giving me more extensive testing!? Could this just be a normal cold/flu!? The wheezing is pretty much the only thing that is really bothering me because it's causing me to cough constantly from the tickle in my throat!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Your symptoms are obviously the same cold that your family has had!. The heart palpitations could be at present caused by a temperature that the cold virus has given you but in the past it may have been through anxiety!. You are anxious thinking that you have an undiagnosed heart condition thereby creating the symptoms that you believe are cardiac related!. (my guys dad died at young age with a heart condition caused by weight, cholesterol, smoking and alcohol!.!.my guy is very fit and health conscious but stress and he gets 'chest pain' through anxiety) You have done the right thing by having and test done and monitored and you should never ignore symptoms like crushing chest pain, radiating into your arm or jaw but these are symptoms that people maybe older may have!. Phlegm is not a symptom of cardiac trouble!. The swelling in your legs should be investigated if it continues but it could be from sitting too long, high heels, weight issues, family history!. Edema is different than what you have described!. Hope all went well with the doctor, but my advice, drink plenty of water, take something for the cold (taking into consideration your asthma and what may set it off) keep your fever down, rest, and put your feet up!. You have a past with asthma!.Could be a recidive of it ,or a bronchitis,or a flu!.!.!.
About your legs, when you are not sit down ,try to up them on wall when you are in bed!.I'm not joking! You are reactivating blood circulation!.
Take more immunostimulants and avoid risk's situations!.
If you are going to your MD,he will knows what you have!.Don't take medication after others advice, especially antibiotics!.It could be bad if is an reactive asthma!Www@Answer-Health@Com
