Throat+ear pain, esp. when swallowing,runny nose,nasal decongestion,hearing chan!

Question:

Throat+ear pain, esp. when swallowing, runny nose, nasal decongestion, hearing change as flu. Laryngitis strep?

Description above was how I felt for the last 2 days. Symptoms subside today (3rd day).
I couldnt figure out what happened to me.

Initially throat and ear pain and esp. painful whenever I swallowed. Hearing change occured as when having flu (kind of decrease ot like sth tingling) for 2 days.
3rd day pain decreases greatly and often unnoticeable, or maybe disappears. Runy nose occurs ( it's very hot here, wouldnt think it id a flu - no other sign/symptom of flu) but exudate or pus forms on the palatopharyngeal arch ( pic at http://www.acm.uiuc.edu/sigbio/proj...... ).
Pain days earlier, white (not yellow as I see carefully) exudate/pus, redness: seem to be infection.
But would this be strep infection? I am worry this would be anyother thing that can be threatening.
If any one can provide any info. about this type or maybe common sign/symtomps of a common disease, any what should be done to help treat this (I know some will say "doctor")...thanks!

Answers:

Essentially you're asking for a diagnosis and you can't get one online. And yeah, you're right, I'm saying "doctor". To find out just this is and to be told how it should be treated, you will have to see a doctor. It's even possible that your doctor will want to do an RST or C/S. Your alternative is to hope it goes away by itself.
