The American Cancer Society and other cancer organisations recommend that women begin breast self-examination at the age of 20!. Breast cancer is mainly a disease of ageing; 80% of those diagnosed are over 50, it's rare in women under 40 and almost unheard of in under 25s!.

No, it does not always mean that you have cancer!. Breasts are made of fat (which is why when women gain weight, their breasts get bigger)!. Fat is lumpy (like cellulite), but it isn't obvious from looking!. If you knead your breasts, you'll feel some lumps and bumps!. This is just fatty breast tissue!. Some women, especially, have dense fatty breast tissue, which can have large lumps!. Even if there is a lump in your breast (not normal tissue), it doesn't mean that it's cancer!. It could be be benign, which means not-cancerous!. You should schedule regular mammograms with your doctor, especially if you're concerned about this!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Not always!. several times i've felt fatty tissue lumps when checking myself!. If it's something that worries you, go to the dr if you can and have them check, cause they know what to look for!. That's what I always did!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
No, most lumps are not cancer!. Clogged ducts and various cysts are much more common!. You should never, however, ignore any lump in your breast!.
