Swollen Tongue?!

Question:

Swollen Tongue?

I'm wondering if anyone can help me or has experienced the same thing? In the past 2 or 3 years (I'm 43), my tongue swells up really badly. It can be at 3 in the morning or 2 in the afternoon. In the beginning I was thinking it could have been fish or fruits even though I have eaten both all of my life. But I have not had either one of these today and here I am again with a swollen tongue. I am taking Zyrtek or Benadryl to help bring the swelling down. I have been tested for so many things and everything always comes back negative.

Answers:

You better check the toothpaste and the mouthwash you use, providing you do use one or both of these things. You are not to swallow these things, only for rinsing out of your mouth. If by some remote chance you have dentures, check any paste or glue that you use to hold your teeth in your mouth.
