Just always be there to comfort and encourage her!. Thats really the best thing you can do!. She might be stressed out, tired, and busy!.!. so maybe help her study for tests or remind her about big assignments or just bring her a coffee and a donut in the morning!. All the little things will add up!.

I'm sorry for your friend's mom!. My aunt has cancer too!. She is in the final stages of breast cancer!. Use your words carefully!. Of course you don't know how she feels and you don't know if it will be okay!.
