Question: Symptoms of FAST and easy bruising!?
My girlfriend bruises extremely easy!. All I have to do is tickle her (not even hard) and she will bruise from it!. Tonight she tripped, swung her arm up to grap a hold of something and hit the top of her hand on the corner of a 2x6 piece of wood!. Within I'd say 10 seconds she had a bruise about the size of a quarter and it rose nearly a 1/4 inch!. I immediately got her ice and finally the swelling went down but its still pretty big!.
What would cause her to bruise so easily and what is with that huge swell on her hand happening so fast!? Her hand was also tingleing (Which I'm guessing is expected from lack of circulation)!.
Is there a medical forum for free somewhere that could more appropriately answer this question!?

Sounds like Anemia, or possibly a severe Iron deficiency!. Does she have a history of eating disorders (not that most girls are 100% honest with that sort of question!.!.!.)!?

Not sure, but I know that people that are Anemic bruise easily!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
