Question: Having the Gall Bladder removed!?
Is this an easy surgery!? what's it like!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Some people go back to work or school in 3-7 days, but others take longer to feel better!. Some folks take 2-4 weeks to fully recover, but most heal quicker!. The entire surgery usually takes no longer than 1 1/2 hours, if it it done laparascopically!. That includes the time it takes to go to sleep and wake up!. Most people go home the same day!. Contrary to popular belief, yes they do cut you in laparoscopic surgery, but the incisions are very small!. If you are having it by laparascopic surgery(which 95% are done that way these days), you will have 4 small incisions no bigger than 1 inch each!. One incision is made near the umbilicus (belly button)one is usually made straight above the umbilicus, and the other 2(the tiny ones) are up to where the surgeon likes to put them!. The little incisions don't hurt!. The pain and soreness is more on the inside!. Everyone's pain is different, but most people complain of a bad soreness type of pain!. The more the patient gets up and moves around (without over-doing it), the quicker the soreness and pain goes away!.

It is one of the simplest abdominal surgeries done in this day and time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No, it is not a complicated surgery at all!. Today you can have gall bladder surgery and leave the hospital the next day!. Most times it is done by laparoscope so they don't even cut you!. Most of my family has had this done and it is the simplest form of surgery!. Good luck and don't worry!.!.!.!.cherieWww@Answer-Health@Com
