Is a implantable loop recorder necessary?!

Question: Is a implantable loop recorder necessary!?
My dad has been blacking out, and they can't seem to find anything wrong with him!. They have done all kinds of tests, eeg, ekg, ct scan, mri, stress tests, tilt table test and ep tests!. The doctors say his heart is in "excellent condition!." I am afraid that if they put in this recorder they will just give up on figuring out what is causing his blackouts!. anyone with similar situations, and yielded good results from it!? Answers:
if they put it in there more likly to find whats wrong with him then if they dont
if there done all those test and found nothing a loop record is a good idear so they can pick up whats wrong with him
i had one in they get it read every 3 months and study all the recordings
and if you look at this way loop records anit cheap and they anit going to waste all the money puting it in him if they think nothing will come of it
