I had a blood/skin disease back when I was 8 but I can't remember the name o!

Question: I had a blood/skin disease back when I was 8 but I can't remember the name of it!?
If I describe it to you, could you please tell me what I had!?

My mum said it was called pyrithia, when I donated blood, the nurse told me it was called purpella, but I've looked up various spellings of each word and I can't find either of them anywhere!.

It started off when I was bitten by an insect (British bug, nothing exotic), something then got into my blood and appeared on my skin!. I had bright reddish/purplish dots all over my arms and legs which were incredibly itchy!. When I scratched them my skin raised up in those areas!. I probably had other symptoms but I can't remember them and I can't remember what I took to get rid of it, other than Pyriton syrup and Fucidan cream, but I'm not sure if I used them for that particular illness!.

I still have some of the dots on my arms over twelve years on!.

I would ask my doctor but waiting times at my local practise try my patience and I would prefer to wait until I'm actually ill before I attempt to waste his time!. So rather than leaving me in the dark until I get another painful ear infection or the like, can you please tell me what I had!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

if you don't want to see your GP, you can phone up the surgery, explain to the receptionist what you want and arrange a Doctors phone call , they will then ring you after they have done their surgery and you wont be wasting his/her time going in!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
