How do I get my blood sugar to go down?!

Question:

How do I get my blood sugar to go down?

I have been diagnosed with Gestational Diabetis and was put on a special low carb diet. I have to check my blood sugar levels 5 times a day. My levels still seem to stay higher than they should. Is there anything I can do to get my levels down so that I don't have to take insullin shots (I hate needles). I haven't even been eating as much carbs as they have allowed me to and my levels don't seem to be coming down .

Answers:

Please check your physician/dietitian or both before you change ur diet. You can do a little bit of walking around just to burn a little sugar. Eat small meals at intervals than a large meal. You could use cinnamon, it regulates the digestion and sugar absorption. Drink a lot of water. Hope it helps. Good luck.
