I actually went to a dermatologist today about chest, shoulder, back, neck, and face acne!.
Appearently, after i tried many acne perscriptions like Minocycline (oral), benzaclyn and retin-A(both topical), they never helped with back, chest, shoulder, neck, and face acne!. All they did was make me itch, and my skin would tingle!.
So, now im about start my 6 month plan of accutane!. ASK A DERMATOLOGIST ABOUT IT!. It's no joke, hardcore stuff!. It appearently dries out your whole body, so eyes get dry and itchy, and lips crack, etc!.
But it can cause birth defects in pregnant women, and also behavorial issues like depression, anger, more violent, suicidal thoughts/actions, and anxiousness!.
Please, ask a dermatologist first before doing anything!. It's so severe that you need to sign a packet called the iPLEDGE!. But, it will probably be worth it!.
I'm getting ready to start mine, im getting bloodwork tomorrow for it actually!.
