Is This A Real Disease/Disorder/Anything?!
Question:
Is This A Real Disease/Disorder/Anything...
Well me and a few other people I know can't tell left from right. I was just wondering if that was really a real disease or disorder or whatever or if it was just a random quirk that some people have
Answers:
It isn't a disease or a disorder. It happens and studies have been conducted but everyone seems to have their own theory about why it occurs. Most seem to agree that it has to do with spatial orientation and mental rotation and is hardwired into the brain. It occurs in about 5% of adults. Call it being directionally challenged, if you like.
And, no, this doesn't have anything to do with dyslexia.
