Question: Small hard lump on back of ear!?
I have a small, hard bump on the back of my ear where the ear meets the side of my head!. It's been there for a couple of years and I started wondering what it was after a lymph node under my jaw started swelling!. I was wondering if the bump on my ear is that same thing!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

No, you do not have any lymphnodes behind your ears!. I have had that before and they are a cist but they will not pop or hurt you!. They are inside of the skin rather than on the outside and they will go away in a few weeks!. It is absolutely nothing to be concerned about!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I have the same thing, it's most likely a benign cyst, sebaceous or epidermoid!. I had one on my forehead, too!. Next time you have a check-up, just ask the doctor to make sure it's nothing harmful!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

well sometimes when you get an ear infection,, you will het a hard knot behind your ear where it is swelling because of the drainage in your ear!. i have had one once!.!. maybe its that,, or somethingelse!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
