Since you've never had a symptom, realize that you don't know whether you have genital or oral herpes!. You can catch HSV1 or HSV2 in either place!.
Most people with herpes have symptoms that are so mild that they aren't even aware that they have herpes!. So you may go your whole life without ever having an outbreak!.
But you should know that you can spread herpes even when you don't have an outbreak!. It's called "viral shedding" and it means that sometimes (but not all the time) you will be infectious without realizing it!. For some people, this happens a lot (up to 15% of the time)!. For others, this happens quite rarely!. But it means that you'll need to tell future partners that you have HSV2 - and that you don't know where you have it!.

Some people get out breaks regularly some don't!.
I got out breaks a least once a month and 2 really bad ones in the beginning!.
If you are a carrier you may not get an out break or experience very mild ones that can feel like some thing else!.
Keep track of your symptoms but trust me an out break is some thing you so don't want to experience!.
