there is an operation to increase the lung capacity for patients sufferinf from copd, is there any information I can read?
Answers:
There are 2 operations available for patients with COPD that improve lung function, but not lung capacity. There is no operation that increases lung capacity. The 2 operations available are a bullectomy, and lung volume reduction surgery. Only a select few of patients with COPD will benefit from one of these operations.
