Question: When people get cancer, is there really only ever one cause!?
I know people who smoke often get lung cancer and the like, but I don't see what one thing caused my grandfather to get leukemia!. They said, well, maybe the cigarettes, maybe the fiberglass in the boat he built, maybe this, maybe that!. Has anyone ever known of someone saying, "you ate red m&Ms, that is why you have cancer!?"Www@Answer-Health@Com

Nobody knows what causes most cancers!.
Smoking has been linked to lung cancer and some other cancers; excessive sun exposure has been linked to skin cancers; the sexually transmitted virus HPV has been linked to cervical cancer!. Up to 10% of cancer cases are hereditary!.
Other than that, we're still pretty much in the dark about cancer and it's causes!. Nobody knows why of two people with the same risk factors (or lack of them) one will get cancer and the other won't!.
Cancer affects the healthy and the unhealthy alike; neither diet nor stress have been proven to contribute to any cancer!.

Remember, the cause of cancer is because cancer cells ignored the G0 cell check point, where's they are not allowed to pass this check point, if they do they can start divide through the process called mitosis and that can cause cancer to spread to the other parts in the body including blood stream!.

No one knows why a six year old will get Neuroblastoma or a toddler will get Wilms tumor !. !. or why a young teen might get Ewings sarcoma or a young adult will get testicular cancer !. !. !. for those under the age of 50 years old !. !. there is no clear connection or link to smoking, diet, or any other environmental carcinogen !. !. for every stated risk there are hundreds and hundreds of exceptions!. depending on where in the body cancer is found depends on what caused it!. sometimes doctors just don't know what caused it!. all they can do is take an educated guess!. more important than what caused it is how to cure it!. right now my father in law is receiving treatment for bladder cancer!. over the last few years he has had surgery and radiation treatments for several different types of cancer!. it just runs in his family!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
most people assume that if they dont smoke they wont get cancer,this is not true what about young children who have cancer with parents who have never smoked!.i know a few people who have never smoked and have been diagnosed with it!.i was diagnosed with throat cancer last year which i put down to smoking as i had smoked for about 30 years so i guess i was a good candidate for it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
we all have to die some day and we all die in different ways no one know hwat causes what they say dont smoke and u wont get lung cancer and eventually u still end up dying of that same cancer u was not suppose to get!. god has everyones destiny and you grandfather was destined to have leukemia!. all you have to do is pray for him and with him (thats if you are a religious person) for a little more time with you until he is called home by the lordWww@Answer-Health@Com
There are many known causes of cancer: use of tobacco in any form- smoking, chewing,snuff!.Alcohol,Exposure to irradiation!. Sexual activity from very early age!.Abstinence(female breast cancer)Obesity!. Certain viral infection(cervical cancer) certain drugs !.Fatty food etc

All you need is one cell to mutate for whatever reason and boom you have cancer!. My daughter was diagnosed with bladder cancer!. She's 18, never smoked, certainly hasn't lived long enough to abuse her system that bad - yet she got a form of cancer associated primarily with 60 something men who smoke!. Explain that one!?
