Question for a Dr. in the house.?

My Dr. quit me, first of all for those who do not know. I have very Severe Canal Stenosis my C5 C6. I have in it many other places too, also a herniated disc in my neck, Bulging disc in my lower back, and arthritis in my spine as well mostly the whole spine.
My Dr. had me on medicine Tramadol, Celebrex, Baclofen. I have been suffering badly for 6 months. Been in bed, Potty chair, wheel chair the whole nine yards. I have had no out side help at all.
I have had lots of pain and dealt with it for 4 years after falling down 13 stairs. Dr.s never took MRI as I ask them too, until this year. I had to throw a fit to get it done, and they said they are glad I did. Since it is life threatening.
He knows how bad the pain is. Yet when I called to have my prescription refilled (on for 1 month) he said he would not refill it until I came in to see him. Well I have no problem with that, however why didn't he tell me before my prescriptions ran out? It took 5 months just to find one I cold take.

The papers I got with it said not to quit taken these pills suddenly. So I got scared. I said is this legal? I am calling my Lawyer to find out. I knew what pain I had to deal with daily. So I took Valerian Root to keep me calm, but I was so sick with pain and vomiting for 2 weeks and sweating real bad. He sent me a letter said I was threatening him and was a drug seeker. He said he will not see me any more after the 18th of July, By the way I never even talked to him…also I never got any cholesterol meds that my heart Dr. said he was suppose to give me. In the pass I am allergic to 4 of them. I can’t even take most narcotics, in fact Tramadol is the only one I been able to take, out of all the ones he try to give me, everyone I took would make me sick, or break out in hives ect. I end up in the ER because of the last cholesterol pills he gave me months ago. I almost stop breathing, same with antibiotics.
I went to see him and he check me and ask if I wanted Tramadol, I told him No! if he is going to call me a drug seeker. He said well I wouldn’t say that if you want Tramadol. He knows what I am on, what did he think I was on the PERCOCET he had gave me months ago. YUCK! I told him last time I seen him I couldn’t take them. I vomited so bad and turned yellow. He knows this! We had a long talk and he said it was out of his hands.

There is no other Dr. I can see in this town. Not to mention I have no car and can not drive at this time. Can he just do that? And if he can what do I do now? I have made an appointment to see a surgeon in Louisville; however they have not called me back after 5 times calling to rescheduled. But that is only for my neck… The herniated disc. I wasn’t going to have the surgery but everyone has talked me in to it. Including Kenneth Copeland Ministries PRAYER TEAM.
Let’s get this clear to. I am not a drug addict. I take these meds because The Dr. told me to and because the pain is horrible.

Ok my doctor basicly read what I tell the nurse gives me my meds and out the door. He never checks my levels. As I was told he needs to since these meds could casue damage to my kidneys ect. He is in and out in less than 5 mins if that.

Wow...As a person and a future doctor(just waiting to get into med school) I have to say that this is something I want to change. I believe a doctor's first priority is comfort and understand, because without it there is no getting better. You can't get better alone. A doctor has knowledge that he needs to bring down to your level and share with you so both of you can thrive in restoration.

It really frustrates me when doctors don't perform near their top because they are lazy or just don't care as much as they should. They shouldn't be doctors.

While, I really don't have the ability to give you any advice, I would do whats best for you first, before I looked into dealing with the doctors problem.
